In April 2016, Kevin first connected with Kristian Nairn, the Game of Thrones favorite who played the character "Hodor". Contacting Kristian through his then co-founded business, The Atonal Project, Kristian wished to commission a custom chain for the upcoming season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones. Kevin and his business partner, Benjamin, were happy to oblige, creating an intricately customized piece before flying to Los Angeles and hand-delivering the chain to Kristian.
House Stark Key
It wasn't long after Los Angeles that Kristian would come to Australia for his Rave of Thrones tour, where Kevin and his partner would collaborate to gift Kristian a new design to commemorate his time on Game of Thrones: the House Stark key.
Infinity Moon Earring
Their next encounter wouldn't be until 2019 when Kevin received a scholarship from the Australian Queensland Government to support his temporary move to LA in pursuit of further networking for their company, The Atonal Project. This was fortunate timing as they had just completed a new piece titled the "Infinity Moon Earring" for Kristian to wear on the red carpet for the Season 8 Game of Thrones series finale.
The Infinity Moon Earring was made in solid 18 carat yellow gold with a hammer finish for texture. A total of nine stones were hammer set into it, starting with citrine being the largest and then tapering down to topaz, tsavorite garnets, Burmese rubies and diamonds.
Rabbit Reaper Chain MK II
While living in LA, Kevin and Kristian met up to design a new piece that Kristian had expressed interest in creating – something for him to wear while performing live. The new piece was to be an MK II version of the Rabbit Reaper Skull.
Front Side
The mk ll version was designed to be much lighter than its predecessor. It was made with a blackened sterling silver base with an 18 carat yellow gold border, 18 carat yellow gold filigree on one side and black enamel on the other. The eyes contain pave set red and white, diamond cut cubic zirconia’s.
